About Me
The heart of design is communication, and the heart of communication is empathy.
Using this concept allows me to connect with and reflect the personality and spirit of the client’s brand to tell their story. Having a B.A. in Studio Art and English Literature from the University of Redlands, and an A.A. in Interface Design from the New Media Arts program at Kapi‘olani Community College gave me a solid foundation on which I use to build custom illustrations and copywriting to bring character to my designs.
The works in my portfolio contain a curated selection of my projects as a student and professional. I have a particular interest in the following areas of design:
If we see the world in motion, why not design the world in motion?
Motion graphics provides unique opportunities to synthesize ideas. It combines the languages of film, animation and graphic design to add new dimensions to a story. I am driven by the challenge to coherently and sequentially display information while capturing and maintaining the audience’s attention.
Let the motion move people!
Sit down and tell me about yourself so we can show others!
A brand is the making of a language. To position and visualize the essence of a given brand is exhilarating as it leaves me the freedom to explore more imaginative concepts—whether through logo, package design, web design, or motion graphics.
Let's communicate in the language of you!
I’ll design all the right material for you.
It’s a powerful gesture to provide ones’ audience with a custom, personalized keepsake. Printed products are an extension of a brand, that—with carefully chosen print materials and process—can elevate the brand’s image. The satisfaction of receiving thoughtful print collateral is a feeling I strive to pass-on to others through my designs.
Let's give them something to remember you by!
