Attract the public to a newly virtual event
Create promotional print and social media collateral for this family-friendly event that sparks excitement about astronomy.
A different event with a recognizable look
Design an identity similar to the Waimea Solar System Walk to indicate that the event is being held by hosts within the same organization. The resulting illustrations that accompany the designs are more colorful and intricate as to draw in attendees.
AstroDay is an event that celebrates astronomy with local communities through exhibitions and educational activities held by amateur and professional astronomers. The onset of COVID-19 changed this event from an in-person to a virtual platform to abide by social distancing regulations.

Second sub-header
This is my body copy, which is used to describe the finer details of the event in both print and social media posts.
Some parts are written in italics.
I also emphasized certain details in bold.
logo Design
This logo is a light-hearted rendition tying the integral purpose of the event—science education through exploration. The outline of the rocket signifies discovery, while the ring around the “O” ties the logo to astronomy.
Artwork
The following illustrative assets are lively in color and detail while still retaining the cartoon-like quality of the Solar System Walk.
