The annual Waimea Solar System Walk, in 2021, was altered to abide by social distancing rules due to COVID-19. The walk consists of a physical outdoor path in Waimea, Hawai‘i featuring educational videos—which attendees can view on Youtube—of Astronomers and Educators who inform viewers about each planet in our solar system.

I designed a visual interpretation of this event as it opens and expands new doorways of knowledge about our solar system as participants walk along the designated path.
Artwork
To capture the attention of a heterogeneous audience, I created simplified designs with animation that depicted specific astronomical phenomena that help people understand the video content.
